Bonaventure KALOU has been removed from the list of the 19 “Elephants” of Côte d’Ivoire who are going to play the “Panthères” of Gabon in Abidjan next sunday oct. 8. Coach STIELIKE explains that his decision is related to the fact that KALOU no longer has a tenure in Paris Saint-Germain. He also left aside Emerse FAE (FC Nantes who is wouded), Hambourg SV defender Guy DEMEL and Le Mans (France) attacker KOFFI NDRI. Yet he has included in the team 3 local “freshmen”: a goalkeeper, Aristide ZOGBO (Issia Wazi), ASEC of Abidjan defender Bakary SORO and his fellow midfielder Didier YA KONAN.
